A Tropic Trails guide will pick you up from Jaipur International Airport and drive you to the hotel at Jaipur City. Jaipur is capital of Rajasthan also known as the Pink City, due to the dominant colour scheme of its buildings.
Jaipur city is Rich in its history and culture, in the morning you will be visiting Amber fort which combines both Mughal and Hindu architecture. After visits to the fort, you will visit Jantar Mantar, Jantar Mantar is the largest and best-preserved observatory in India it is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, built by Sawai Jai Singh, a Rajput king, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After breakfast, we will transfer you to the outskirts of the city from where the cycling tour will begin. Terrain is mostly flat and you will be cycling through villages, corn fields, temples and ancient monuments where you will experience the real Rajasthan. You will be staying at The Phool Mahal Palace, which was constructed in 1870, served as the royal palace of the Kishangarh Maharaja. The Palace converted into a boutique hotel for tourists. Evening you can visit Kishangargh fort.
Today you will be cycling through the Roopangarh market, bright colourful villages and Khadela fort. Once you reach Pushkar, You will visit the famous Brahma temple, on the shores of the Puskar Lake, considered sacred for Hindus. In the evening you have an option to visit local market.
Today you will be cycling through the scenic Aravalli mountain ranges, you will be staying at the 400 year old Fort Khejarla. Today you have an optional village tour at Khejarla on camel cart to visit the 600-year-old Durga temple and to enjoy the sunset view. If you are interested in wildlife, this is a great opportunity to go on a Jeep safari to the desert and lake for sighting wildlife.
Today you will be cycling through the rural country side, corn fields and transfer a short distance to a hotel in the city of Jodhpur. Jodhpur is also known as the Blue City as it looks completely blue from an aerial view because of its blue walls and houses. Jodhpur is famous for its temples, lakes and streetfood, with the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort being the main attraction.
Today you will be visiting the desert around Jodhpur & take a leisurely ride to Osian at the edge of the desert. Here the great Thar desert welcomes you with its traditional colour and gaiety. You can choose to ride a camel if the mood takes you. At sunset return to the hotel
We transfer from the city of Jodhpur for a short distance before getting back on our bikes. Our cycling is flat and easy passing numerous mustard fields. We head to Bhenswara village in Jalore to experience a cultural & rustic Rajasthani village. Today you are staying in a castle built 240 years ego, now converted to a luxury accommodation.
Today you will be cycling through the Aravali mountain ranges, and you are staying by the Jawai Leopard Conservation. In the evening you will be going for a wild life safari.
Today early morning, you wll be going for a Leopard Safari around the backwaters of Jawai Dam, this place also offers you a great chance to spot a great bird life and crocodiles. After breakfast you will be cycling around the nearby Shepard village.
Today is the challenging day of your Rajasthan cycling holiday, on the way you will be visiting Ranakpur Jain Temple. The marble Jain temple, said to be the most spectacular of the Jain temples in India. In the afternoon you will be visitng Kumbalgargh Fort (UNESCO Heritage Site) built in the early fifteenth century with walls that wind 36 Kms along and across hills and valleys of the Aravalli mountain range. This wall is second in list of the longest walls after the The Great Wall of China.
Today you will be cycling through the dry deciduous forests, beautiful valleys and narrow country side roads of the Aravalli Mountain ranges. You will be transferd the last stretch to Udaipur also known as the City of Lakes.
Today you will be exploring the city of Udaipur. One of the main attractions here is the City Palace on the east bank of Lake Pichola. The famous Jagdish temple is in the City Palace complex. These three storied temples was built in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. The Saheliyon-ki-Bari or the ‘Garden of the Maids of Honor’ of Udaipur was once reserved for the royal ladies.
